Propely is building an intelligent property management platform that is becoming the daily operating system for an industry ready for digital transformation. Today, more than 10,000 professionals use Propely every month to manage and operate thousands of properties across Norway. Our ambition goes far beyond that: to become the leading global platform for property operations.

We are now looking for a Senior iOS Developer who wants to play a key role in shaping the mobile experience of that platform.

This is not a maintenance role. You will take ownership of the iOS application and help scale it as Propely continues to grow.

Why this role matters

Own and evolve the iOS platform

Mobile is a critical part of how property managers and operators interact with Propely in their daily work. In fact, the iOS application is currently the most used platform among our users, making it one of the most important surfaces for delivering a great Propely experience. As our Senior iOS Developer, you will take ownership of the iOS application and be responsible for shaping how the product evolves on mobile.

You will initially be the primary iOS developer, giving you significant influence over architecture, technical decisions, and product direction on the platform.

Build the foundation for a future mobile team

While you will start as the main iOS developer, our ambition is to expand the mobile team over time. You will help establish the foundations, patterns, and technical direction that future engineers will build on.

Work with modern technology at real scale

Propely already serves thousands of properties and tens of thousands of users. You will work on an app that is used every day by professionals managing real assets in the real world.

You will collaborate closely with our Android developer, product designers, backend engineers, and the broader engineering team to build reliable, high-quality mobile experiences across the mobile platform.

We are a highly collaborative team with short decision paths, strong trust, and an eNPS above 70. Product, design, and engineering work closely together, and ideas move quickly from concept to production.

You will work with us in person from our office at Epicenter Oslo.

What you will work on

Own the iOS codebase

Take responsibility for the architecture, quality, and evolution of our iOS application.

Be a leader in emerging trends and best practices for iOS development

We want to be leaders in iteratively improving our iOS development practices. Our application is almost entirely rewritten in SwiftUI, and we are proactively moving from GCD to modern Swift Concurrency.

Build new product capabilities

Work closely with product and design to develop new features that help property managers operate their portfolios more efficiently.

Improve performance and reliability

Continuously improve performance, stability, and overall user experience in the mobile application.

Shape mobile development at Propely

Help define best practices around testing, architecture, CI/CD, and release processes for our mobile stack.

Collaborate across the product team

Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure the mobile experience is tightly integrated with the overall platform.
